Hello, everyone,

Some friends and I have been talking about changing the term “social distancing” to “physical distancing.” It seems much more accurate, as I feel more socially connected than ever!! So, I have now adopted this term 🙂

I write this with heartfelt wishes for the wellbeing of you and your loved ones. I am not a psychic, and don’t consider myself to be a predictive astrologer. However, astrology works, and the themes present on Earth almost always line up with the current themes of the planets. Like many astrologers, I personally don’t always know how that will manifest. For example, I did see a trend this year of more people working from home and people getting more creative about how they work, as well as some potential instability in the economy. The planets showed these themes. But I had no idea how that would play out!

In hindsight, I see the planetary connection. Pluto rules death and rebirth on literal and metaphorical levels and it has been dominating our astrology since last year, along with Saturn. Pluto can generically be described as a planet of “deep transformation,” and Saturn is known in broad terms as the planet of “systems and structure.” A global pandemic certainly checks both of these boxes. This could have played out in so many other ways, but this is what mother nature came up with. How we deal with everything individually, of course, is up to us.

One thing I’ve noticed is that people are coming together to help each other out in beautiful and unexpected ways, which is an Aquarian theme that will be emphasized when Saturn is in Aquarius March 21 – July 1, and there is some big time Aquarian astrology occurring mid-December that will kick off fresh energies for 2021. I’ll be talking about this Saturday in a well-timed free online event. I am so grateful I can connect with people online during this time of physical distancing.

Saturn in Aquarius: The Structured Revolutionary
This year, Saturn will be exerting its final efforts through Capricorn, leaving us with new life lessons and a renewed commitment to our goals. We’ll experience a “sneak preview” of Saturn in Aquarius between March 21st and July 1st. While Saturn in Capricorn has emphasized building a solid foundation, we’ll be encouraged to be much more experimental under the influence of Saturn in Aquarius.

We’re apt to see new inventions and unconventional approaches to problem solving emerging under this astrology. On December 18th, Saturn will complete its Capricorn cycle and move into Aquarius until March 7, 2023. Anyone born under the sign of Aquarius will be primed for personal growth during 2021-2022. People born under the signs of Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio may also feel enhanced effects of Saturn in Aquarius.
